Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are interested in re-signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Manchester United, according to the BBC.
The report claims that the German side are monitoring the player’s situation as he comes in for yet more criticism from Jose Mourinho.
The Manchester United boss has left the Armenian out of the first-team matchday squad in recent weeks and even claimed that he ‘disappears’ during games.
It’s another blow for Mkhitaryan who has had a tough time since joining United from Dortmund.
Mkhitaryan initially struggled to adjust to life in the Premier League following his £26 million move from Dortmund and was left out of the United side for some time.
Dortmund have struggled in the Bundesliga of late after a strong start to the campaign under Peter Bosz, who now finds himself under immense pressure.
Bosz’s men currently sit fifth in the Bundesliga, nine points behind league leaders Bayern Munich.
