Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Mijat Gacinovic’s performances in the Bundesliga have caught the eye of several clubs across Europe, with clubs like Manchester United and Bayern Munich keeping tabs on him, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been playing in the Bundesliga for two years and is a very creative player who enjoys taking defenders on. He can play centrally or on either flank as he has the pace to beat his opposition.
Gacinovic has found it difficult to find the back of the net during his time in the German top tier and has only scored four times in his 51 appearances for the club.
He won his first Serbia cap in March and has scored twice in three games, so he has shown that he can step up his game when it matters most.
Bayern Munich reportedly had scouts as Serbia’s clash with Austria earlier in the week, with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho also present to watch the winger in action.
However, the midfielder signed a new contract with Frankfurt recently which means that it will be difficult for any club to sign him in January.
Bayern Munich are reportedly in pole position to land Gacinovic but Arsenal and Man United are following the situation closely.
