RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita completed a move to Liverpool, which will see him move to the Premier League next summer.
Both clubs agreed that the Guinena international would join up with the Reds squad in the summer of 2018, but he could now arrive in Merseyside in January, according to Bundesliga journalist Chris Williams.

Twitter: From inside Leipzig, some becoming unamused at his off the field antics. “Prima-donna” tendancy, also the red suit didn’t go down well (2/3) (@Chris78Williams)
Twitter: Could open the way to an earlier move to LFC. January could become a serious option should behaviour / improvement not turn around. (3/3) (@Chris78Williams)
The midfielder has come under fire from the German media and Leipzig fans after making a poor start to the new season, with some questioning his attitude and his loyalty to the club.
Keita was sent off for a high challenge during a 2-2 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach and during his suspension, the player was seen in the stadium with a red coloured suit, which seemingly angered many fans.
Keita’s mind doesn’t seem focused on Leipzig at the moment, and he was rated as the worst player of the match during their UEFA Champions League defeat to Besiktas.
Leipzig boss Ralph Hasenhüttl said:
Naby was not good today, maybe it would have been better not to have taken him.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp needs Keita as soon as possible and would be delighted if Leipzig allow him to leave in January.
