The young midfielder has struggled to establish himself on the first-team scene at the Allianz Arena, and is understood to have a somewhat frosty relationship with Carlo Ancelotti.
Sanches joined Bayern only last summer off the back of an excellent breakthrough campaign with Benifca, along with an equally impressive tournament with Portugal at Euro 2016.
Swansea boss Paul Clement has links with Bayern having spent a spell there under Ancelotti as an assistant manager. So, he’ll be hoping that his former companion will do him a favour, and lend Sanches to the Swans for the season.
Sanches is understood to have several potential suitors as we rapidly approach the summer transfer deadline, but it looks as though the Swans have audaciously thrown their hat into the ring.
The 20-year-old is free to leave Bayern on loan and has been linked with Manchester United previously.
