Having started only six Bundesliga games last season, it’s clear that Renato Sanches isn’t in Carlo Ancelotti’s first-team plans at Bayern Munich.

The teenage midfielder is regarded as one of the best young talents in world football but he may have to leave the Allianz Arena to search for first-team football.

Bayern themselves have hinted that he could leave on loan with Juventus among those interested despite Chelsea being the bookies favourites to sign the former Benfica man.

It appears as if AC Milan are closing in on a deal to sign the midfielder on an initial loan deal with a €40m option to make the move permanent, according to Kaveh Solhekol.

The likes of Manchester United and Monaco have also been linked with a move for the European Golden Boy award winner, but AC Milan seem to be the closest to securing the signature of the Bayern Munich starlet.
