Red Bull Leipzig have enjoyed a stunning season in the Bundesliga, securing a second place finish and an automatic qualification spot in next season’s Champions League – things really couldn’t have gone much better.

Leipzig have already begun scouting Europe for some new additions and they’ve turned their attentions to highly-rated Toulouse centre-back Issa Diop, according to Foot 365 (h/t talkSPORT).

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are all considering summer moves for Diop but Leipzig have stolen a march on the Premier League trio by submitting a £10m bid for the France U21 international.

The 20-year-old broke into the Ligue 1 side’s first-team midway through last season and was an immediate starter, carrying that form into this current season where he’s started 30 league games, scoring twice.

Toulouse are believed to have turned down Leipzig’s opening offer as they will continue to hold out for a fee of at least double what the Bundesliga club offered.
