Sead Kolasinac was one of the most talked about names set to hit the open market when the transfer window opens in the summer – but it appears he’s no longer available.

According to Sky Sources, Kolasinac will be joining Arsenal on July 1st when his contract with Schalke expires.

The Bosnian left-back has caught the eye of a number of top clubs in Europe this season with his impressive performances in the Bundesliga.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Juventus have all been reportedly keeping tabs on his situation but Arsenal seem to have won the race for his signature.

Kolasinac can play in the orthodox left-back role or as a wing-back further up the pitch and seeing as Arsenal are alternating between the two formations currently, he makes a smart addition to the squad.

His arrival will raise questions about the futures of both Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs who are also vying for a starting role on the left side of the defence.
