Cologne have enjoyed a decent season in the Bundesliga this term as they currently occupy seventh spot with a strong chance of breaking into the top six and securing a place in the Europa League next season

A large part of their success has been the fine form of star striker Anthony Modeste who has found the net with regular aplomb this season, netting 23 goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances.

According to BILD (h/t talkSPORT), Cologne have slapped a £25m price-tag on Modeste this summer with clubs expected to be queuing for his signature.

The report claims that West Ham, OGC Nice and Marseille are all interested in signing the 29-year-old forward.

After struggling to make an impact in Ligue 1 or the Premier League, Modeste moved to German football with Hoffenheim where he scored 23 goals in two seasons with the club, earning him a move to Cologne where he has developed into one of the league’s top strikers.

Currently third in the top scorer charts behind Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Robert Lewandowski, the former Blackburn loanee is certainly a late bloomer in the game.
