Pep Guardiola has always been a manager who keeps his eyes on the most talented young players across the globe.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester City and Guardiola are expected to beat Bundesliga outfits Wolfsburg and Red Bull Leipzig to the signing of highly-rated Paris Saint-Germain teenager Dan-Axel Zagadou.

The 17-year-old is yet to make his professional debut for PSG and sees his contract expire at the end of the season meaning he can leave on a free transfer.

Zagadou is a regular for the France U18 side and has made a handful of UEFA Youth League appearances for the PSG U19 side this term but appears some way off from breaking into the first-team.

Manchester City appear to have won the race for his signature in the summer, with Wolfsburg and Leipzig to move onto other targets.

England youth international centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo is set to leave City in the summer when his contract expires so bringing in another talented young centre-back makes a lot of sense for Guardiola.
