Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has admitted he is hoping for a move to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
According to Turkish Football who quote Fanatik, the Turkish international has confirmed a move to Chelsea at the end of the season could be an option but admitted there are plenty of clubs interested in signing the player.
Calhanoglu reportedly told Fanatik:
God willing, I will be a Chelsea player next season, there are also a number of other clubs interested in signing.
Calhanoglu has scored seven times already this season as well as registering seven assists too. The Blues have been long-term admirers of the player and have previously been linked with making a move for the player.
The midfielder is currently banned for Leverkusen due to a contract dispute involving his former club Trabzonspor, meaning his days in Germany many be limited. The ban for breach of contract will last four months.
