The 22-year-old has been in good form for the Bundeslida side this season, scoring five goals in 13 league games. He is prodominantly played as a number ten, but can play up front or out wide.
It is this versatility that is likely to make him an attractive option for both Arsenal and Tottenham, and the fact that he could be available at relatively low price only further increases his desirability.
He’s been with Freiburg since an early age and played a key role as they earned promotion to the top-flight last season. He did have offers to join other German clubs in the summer but chose to stay loyal to the Breisgau-Brasilianer.
