Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing attacking midfielder Yunus Malli from Bundesliga side FSV Mainz, according to reports in Germany.
The 24-year-old has been in fine form for his club side this season, scoring 10 goals in 26 Bundesliga games and according to Kicker, he’s on the radar of Mauricio Pochettino.
Spurs are reportedly considering making a bid for Malli in the summer, but if they wish to get him they’ll have to do so ahead of Borussia Dortmund and Valencia, who are also interested in signing him.
Pochettino’s men have reportedly been scouting Malli since January and considered making a bid for him in the winter, however, with Champions League football all-but-guaranteed, they will need to add some more quality and the Turkish international could be one of the men they bring into the squad.
Malli made his debut for Turkey back in November 2015, having decided to switch allegiances after representing Germany at youth levels.
