Barcelona are plotting a summer move for Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Catalan club have been long-term admirers of the German international, and the Daily Star suggested last summer that Reus actually rejected a move to Spain in the summer as he wasn’t ready to compete with Neymar and Messi for a place in the starting XI.
Reus has also been linked with Barcelona’s rivals Real Madrid plenty of times, but with a move for Nolito falling on deaf ears in January, it’s the Catalan side who are ready to reignite their interest in Reus.
The 26-year-old has 66 goals in 143 appearances for Die Schwarzgelben, 13 of which have come this season as the German international’s partnership with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is blossoming making them the deadliest combination in the Bundesliga.
Should Luis Enrique and co. fail in their attempts to bring number-one target Reus to Camp Nou, then Juventus forward Paulo Dybala and Atletico Madrid outcast Luciano Vietto are other options.
