As Bayern Munich’s defensive woes mount, BILD have linked them with two central defenders in the form of Tottenham Hotspur’s Kevin Wimmer and Spartak Moscow’s Serdar Tasci.

Injuries to Jerome Boateng, Mehdi Benatia and Javi Martinez have left Bayern Munich with the bare minimum of Holger Badstuber and Joshua Kimmich.

The Spurs’ defender has been linked with a number of moves in the window. Spurs have rejected speculation linking Wimmer with a move to Wolfsburg. It remains to be seen whether Bayern will look to the former-Köln man.

Yesterday, we saw youngster Joshua Kimmich make his 11th appearance in Bayern Munich’s 2-0 win over TSG Hoffenheim thanks to the ever-present striker Robert Lewandowski who grabbed a brace.

BILD link Bayern Munich with a lot of potential defenders on loan including Everton’s John Stones.

In the past hour, BILD have reported that Bayern Munich are ‘close’ to signing Spartak Moscow and former Stuttgart defender Sedar Tasci on loan with a view to a permanent deal for a fee in the region of €10 million.

If the deal does materialise Bayern will have to pay a loan fee of €2.5 million. BILD information suggests that a deal could be done by the 5pm deadline of Tuesday.
