Schalke’s promising forward Leroy Sané is reportedly edging ever closer to a move away from the Bundesliga, with Spanish giants Barcelona looking to pounce on the youngster in the near future, according to Sport English.
Sané, 20, has been the subject of a lot of interest in recent months due to his undeniable ability and potential, with the footballing heavyweights of Europe being attracted to Sane, such as Liverpool and Real Madrid.
However, despite a range of interest from plenty of clubs, it looks as though Sané has his heart set on a move to the Nou Camp to play with some of football’s richest talents, as opposed to remaining at the Veltins Arena.
Sané made a name for himself after he broke through into the first team at Schalke last season, scoring an outrageous goal against Real Madrid in the Champions League; one of the first goals in a tally of eight so far for the German outfit in his 34 competitive appearances.
Sport English report that Leroy Sané has told his representatives that he wants to move to the Catalan side.
The 20-year-old has simply got better and better as he has progressed with Schalke,Sané bagged his fifth goal of the season in Schalke’s 2-0 away win against SV Darmstadt. However, if a move to the Catalan giants is to go through, they will need to cough up a fee of €37million that has been reportedly agreed.
