Robert Lewandowski will hold out for a move to Real Madrid and reject interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City in order to get his dream move to Spain, reports Jason Burt from the Telegraph.

The rumours circulating around his future are growing and he is expected to hold out for a move if Real Madrid can overturn or delay their transfer ban. Even if, they fail to overturn or delay their transfer plan, the former Borussia Dortmund striker would opt to stay at the Allianz for another year than accept a big money move to English’s top-flight.

In Madrid, there are growing concerns in relation as to whether Real Madrid can keep their key players at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a move away and as ever Red Devil’s Manchester United are included. Also, mega rich PSG have been linked with Portugal’s captain as Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to depart the Parc des Princes at the end of his contract.

Currently injured Gareth Bale’s future is also under scrutiny, even though the Welshman is keen to stay in the Spanish capital. Some of the clubs linked with the Cardiff-born attacker are PSG and Bayern Munich.

Lewandowski’s sole objective seems to be to join the 10-time Champions League winner and Florentino Perez has the hitman as his number one target.

If Pep Guardiola was to become the next Manchester City manager, it seems very likely that the 27-year-old will be one of the main targets for the Spaniard.

Lewandowski is still contracted to the Bavarian club till 2019, but with four days left in the Transfer Window, we will have to see what advancements are made in this transfer saga.
