Nicklas Bendtner, 28, has played 73 times and scoring 29 times for Denmark since making his debut in 2006. Bendtner doesn’t lack experience, especially in the Premier League.
The Dane enjoyed a total of nine years at the Emirates with loan spells at Birmingham City, Sunderland and Juventus between 2005 and 2014.
Bendtner arrived at the Volkswagen Arena in 2014 on a free transfer, in his first season the 28-year-old scored just one goal in the Bundesliga and five in all competitions as Wolfsburg fell eight points short of Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich.
This season for Die Wolves, he has managed to double last season’s total but he only featured in ten games following Bas Dost’s good run of form.
With the Bundesliga season returning this weekend, Bendtner will expected be in contention to start following Bas Dost’s fractured metatarsal which will keep him out till early March.
